About Us

We are two guys from Norway who love to create charming games with deep stories.

Our goal is to make meaningful, "adult-friendly" games meant for a mature audience, not through explicit content, but through deeper themes, subtle symbolism, and layered storytelling that resonate most with players who bring their own life experience and perspective.

Our games are cute and colorful, but beneath the surface lie deeper and darker undertones. We love ideas that grow, and games that make you pause - to breathe, to smile, to reflect, or to rethink.

Whether it's puzzle, action or another genre, we aim to create experiences that stick with you.

Our Story

Our journey began while studying game design at the University of Inland Norway, where we teamed up for our bachelor’s project. That collaboration sparked a strong creative partnership, and our game ended up winning awards for "Best Gameplay" and "Best UI" from the university.

After a short time working on separate paths, we realized we missed building things together. We wanted a space where we could turn our shared passion for creativity and games into something real. Glueplant Games was founded on the 16th of January 2025.

We're now hard at work on our first commercial title, Steps. Our goal is simple: to make cute and colorful games with deeper and darker undertones that leave a lasting impression. We’re excited to share this journey with you, and we hope you’ll join us along the way. Check out our DevLogs and subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated!

The Glue Crew

Adrian Klausen
CEO & Programmer
At the age of 15, Adrian discovered his passion for game making through the RPG Maker series. After 12 years of non-coding game developments, several board games and bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and economics, he decided it was time to approach his dream of becoming a full-time game developer. Through the years at the University of Inland Norway, his development skills matured, preparing him for stepping into the games industry as a co-founder of Glueplant Games.
